This session deals with algorithms, numerical techniques, and scientific or industrial applications involving micro and nanotechnology problems, i.e., problems where multiple scales and physical fields are coupled.
Typical examples are:
  • MEMS simulation for design and validation.
  • Analytical and Reduced order modeling.
  • Multiscale problems in micro and nanotechnologies.
  • Molecular dynamics and Continuum mechanics hybrid problems.
  • Microfluidics and lab on a chip simulations.
  • Microelectronics in sensors and actuators.
